Students

WELCOME TO THE HUB!

WHAT IS A HUB? The center around which other things revolve or rotate; the core or focus of an activity, region, or network.

OUR VISION is to see students make Christ the center (hub) of their lives by: Honoring God, Uniting together in service, and Becoming disciples who make disciples.

OUR MISSION is to be a hub of spiritual growth in our community for the next generation.

You matter at Osprey.Church.
Why? Because you matter to God. He loves you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to pay the price for your sins by dying in your place so you can have forgiveness and eternal life. We love you and want you to grow in your faith no matter where you are currently in your journey. Please reach out if you have any questions. Also, if you need a ride to one of our services or events, please let me know! I look forward to meeting and getting to know you soon!

WHEN WE MEET

9am Sundays | Bible study (teen room in auditorium building)

10am Sundays | Family worship in auditorium

5:30-7:00pm Sundays | The HUB Youth Group (Fellowship Hall)

WHAT TO EXPECT

Group games, sports 🏀🏐🏉, fun activities, and great snacks each week. But most importantly, serious ✝️ faith talks about real life issues. We are a safe place to discuss topics with friends and leaders who care about you 💜 and are passionate about seeing God change lives! 🙏

ACTIVITIES & SPECIAL EVENTS

We have regular trips, activities and events we attend throughout the year. Every summer we go to youth camp and we usually attend an annual all-night event called Reverb in Orlando.

Details on these are announced as planned. We love hanging out and ALWAYS have a blast together!

Our Leaders

Jared and his wife, Abby, have been leading student ministries for 15+ years. Jared became our Associate Pastor in August 2019 and has since been called as Senior Pastor. He and Abby continue leading our student ministry at this time. Abby teaches in a local Christian school and they have three children: Emma, Ellahna, and Jeremiah. Jared loves playing basketball, hanging out with teens, and going to the beach with his family. He would love to get to know you and answer any questions you may have so please reach out!

OUR PLAN is to be present in the lives of students, caring for, supporting, and helping them through life’s challenges. We seek to lovingly accept all students while we engage them in spiritual discussions. We hope to experience God together in weekly Bible talks, exciting activities, and a few fun annual events and trips. We will form partnerships to serve our community and be actively involved in local schools, civic groups, FCA clubs, and community centers.

OUR PRIORITY is to make a difference in our community by giving back, serving others and sharing the love of Jesus in meaningful ways.
